I got my hands on a Jackpot 3 and three NEMA 23 closed-loop kits with CL57T drivers. The CL57T supplies motor power itself — the board only needs to provide step and direction logic. Is there any supported way to get step/dir out of a Jackpot 3 to an external driver, or are the i2so lines truly captive to the onboard 2226s? I understand the Jackpot3 does not allow external driver - right? So - today what is the best board with similar functionality that I can buy to drive my Nema 23’s?
