The web installer has had the setup for a couple revisions now, but this means if anyone gets into trouble they can easily plug it in and make some changes. Letting them know this is the best way to set up STA mode also means they will have plugged it in, and set up any drivers if needed and making sure the interface works. Otherwise, if the SSID went bad people could lose the IP and have to find it on their router.
This is the best way for people to play with it in my opinion. If it does not work, go right back to AP mode.
