Keep config.yaml on Flash, but delete rest of the unrequired/old files via https://installer.fluidnc.com/files

You can also just update the files from the WebUI itself.

For whatever reason, I seem to have issues with the Web Installer beyond actually flashing it. I just took a fresh install of FluidNC 3.8.2 with the WebUI v2 that it puts on it. I did nothing but do a clean install. You should be covered up to here. From there, I took these steps to update to WebUI v3. Note that I’ve included my theme that I’m rather biased towards. Also note that if you have the 8MB V1E ESP32 and want/need more than 192KB of Flash storage, you can build/upload with PlatformIO. Then you’re not using the web installer at all. You end up with 1.77MB.

Flash Memory Size

I’m showing as having 192KB of Flash in FluidNC. Is it possible to increase this with a different ESP32? I’m not quite sure what this correlates to on ESP32 specs. [image] As I work on WebUI v3 extensions and themes, I’m running out of space. It’s still a manageable amount. You can do things like compress the files and minify HTML/CSS, but it would still be nice to have more. It technically works to store these files on the SD, but I’m not sure if that has limitations. Thoughts?

WebUI tablet extension

Mitch’s repo is latest. He made a bunch of changes to consolidate the code between v2 and v3. Last I checked, selecting files within folders that I fixed was broken again. I kind of lost interest as I don’t use that extension.
