Hi All,
Getting the following message when trying to Prob
ALARM:4 Probe fail. Probe is not in the expected initial state before starting probe cycle.
I see that the light is activated even after I disconnected the wire from the controller, any advice please.
FluidNC v3.9.1
Some questions:
did it ever work?
Can you show us your $SS
output from the terminal?
If you use $Limits
to test the probe and end stop behavior, does everything toggle correctly when you tap the endstop or probe? If not, which things work and don’t work?

Hi,
Yes it was working fine TBH I don’t use it usually as it’s not very accurate when cutting mostly I use to calibrate the z axis.
Running $ss
Commands

Ok, you need to troubleshoot and fix you limit switches and possibly probe depending on how you defined the probe
