Jackpot Board Change

I have an offbeat question for Ryan. How hard would it be to change the dupont connectors to terminals? I’ve been thinking about building a second CNC that uses Nema 23 motors. While the drivers on the Jackpot wouldn’t be able to run them, externals would. Bart offers an adapter for the pololu style connectors that allow the use of external drivers. Terminals would make it much easier to connect wires to the drivers (and I may just hate Dupont connectors as a personal rule).

Just a thought.

This video helped me a ton. And the one from teaching tech…

I’ve been crimping connectors for quite some time. Dupont are the only ones that ever give me any problem. But again, the ability to quickly swap wires (wrong pair or backwards from the motor or driver) is more important to me.

I get that and figured this wasn’t the answer you wanted lol. But I do know I hated doing duponts until I watched those 2 videos and now I rarely have a bad one.
