OK, I’ve been away for a bit. Too long. Probably close to 2 years. Too many projects, health issues, and too little time. Time to get my Lowrider v3 out and start cutting again. What’s this? A v4 is now out? Crap!!
Why must you keep coming out with better systems. First, I upgraded from v2 to v3. Come back on and see that a v4 is out. (I’m sure it has been for a while too.) Now my immediate thought is that I will leave my v3 alone, but I know me. I am going to have to what v4 is all about. Crap. Why are you doing this to me??!!
A history of me. I have a Lowrider v3 table in my garage that can cut 7ftx4ft. I have not cut anything that large, but at some point, I might have to try it. I also want to see if it can handle 3d. I haven’t tried that yet. My cnc table folds up against the wall and only takes about 15 minutes to setup. I still am very new to the CNC world and will have to relearn everything since I haven’t done it in a while. I have too many projects, but not enough time. And… its good to be home again, at v1e.
My LR3 was soooo much better than my LR2, and I loved it. It even did trochoidal cutting of 1/4" aluminum. And Ryan is right, for occasional users, it can still be your beast. That said, after having upgraded to LR4, it is beefier and nice. I do still have one LR3 running for plasma though.
I have never posted a build thread. I will do so, and provide pictures. (It may be a week or two because I’m working on replacing my exhaust of my truck right now.)
