Ahhhhh my bad! I totally missed that one. That was probably a result of an early morning reading session. Lol

I just made an update that will display a warning if it detects a situation like this.
(But it only works “most of the time” for now because checking too thoughly can take excessive amounts of time.)

I don’t know how it would look or if it’s worth the effort, but here’s my take on cutting out an STL carve using a Carve path.

Material thickness - STL Height = Cutting Depth (e.g. 14 - 10 = 4mm)
Start level = STL Height (e.g. 10mm)
Adjust Carve Width until Preview Max depth = Cutting Depth and Preview shows a single path (e.g. Width = 1.5mm).

While it still needs a reality check, it looks like an Isosceles Triangle Calculator would be easier and more accurate - Vertex angle and Height (or Base) entries = Width (or Depth) setting.
