Hi @vicious1, would a short NestForge demo be welcome in Software / Firmware? I made it as part of Madegrain. It arranges SVG/DXF parts on sheets and exports the layout for existing CAM software. It doesn’t generate toolpaths.
I’d include the input parts and exported result so people can inspect it. Up to ten parts on one sheet are free; the full version is a one-time EUR 29 purchase. Is that within the forum’s rules for developer posts? I couldn’t find a private-message button, so I’m asking here before posting the demo.
Thanks Ryan. I’ve put together a short demo and a downloadable example with eight acrylic enclosure panels. The example includes the source files, settings and exported layouts, so people can try it in their own CAM software.
The forum currently says my account can’t include links. Could you enable them for this thread so I can share the demo and files here?
A quick price correction to my first post: the full v1 license is now EUR 49 once, with no subscription. Existing personal EUR 29 offers will be honored. The free version still nests and exports up to ten parts on one sheet.
