Is 0.7mm wall steel tube too thin?

I bought some 25mm chromed steel wardrobe rail from my local B&Q, but it’s only 0.7mm wall thickness - should I take it back and look for something stronger?

I’m in the UK, and building an MPCNC to cut foamboard and balsa for RC planes, so I’ll need a workspace of 750x500mm (total size 1020x800mm) but won’t be doing anything heavy.

It’s the router that’ll be heavy. The recommended thickness is 1.5mm for stainless. Chromed steel won’t have the strength of stainless even at the same wall thickness, and the chroming will flake off after a while from the pressure of the bearings.

Thanks. I’ve printed most of the parts for 25mm tube, so I think I’ll try the ‘DETA class 4 conduit’ from Screwfix.

Amusingly the most highly rated review is from @MakerDan who used it for a MPCNC

Never mind, the diameter was confirmed in one of the reviews. It’s going to add weight to the XY carrier though. It’s 2.4KG per 3m length. It doesn’t matter so much for the exterior frame tubes.
