I have a IOT relay and was wondering how I should hook it up to the Jackpot 3. Looks like I need to use an output?
I tried to find this topic in the forums but didnt find it.
If already answered I am sorry and if you could kindly add the link that would be great!

We need more details from you.
What model of IOT relay ?
What do you intend to run with the relay?

This one was recommended I think in the LowRider 4 Documentation
I want it to turn on my vacuum and router

First, go here to check the docs: Jackpot3 CNC Controller - V1 Engineering Documentation
Next, you want to run a wire from the 5 volt pin (27) to the green connector on the side of the IOT relay. Then just plug in your vacuum and router to the 2 switched power outlets.

No programming required in Fluid?

If you followed the milling basics, you already have the required setup.
The basics for milling are not, well, basic. This subject can get very deep and intimidating so I will try and present this in a tiered manner. Improving as we learn collectively and as the software (CAM) improves. I am no expert. I learn by reading...
The M62 P1 (If used start spindle pin27 ) and M63 P1 (stop spindle pin27) lines is what sends the command to the IOT device. These are buttons on the WebUI interface, too.

Ok so I got the iot to trigger but its just for a split second. How do I keep it on?
Its like hitting the pin 27 on macro doesn’t stay on

So, when touching 27 on, it just comes on for a second and then goes off? Sounds like the board isn’t holding the power. I am on a Jackpot 2 and it works fine.

Ya, I click them macro button and I hear the vacum start up for a second and then turn off. Same with the light on the IOT relay for indicating when the relay is pulled in.

Does it change anything if you have nothing plugged into the outlets?
Watch the terminal to see if there is any errors

There are three other ports do any of them work as you expect?

Sorry for wasting your all’s time. It was my fault. Had the power to the board plugged into the nomally on outlet. It works now. Sorry!
