Initial homing

Hey everyone,

When I did my initial homing yesterday, all honed great, once done all resting on their endstops. When I ran the command to get the current positions it was 0,0,200. What would be the reason for z to be at 200 even though it was just homed. I would have expected 0,0,0.

When you home Z, you are at the max position, not really “0”. 200 is more than you can actually travel with your LR4, but that’s ok.

That number at “home” for Z is somewhat arbitrary, as you will typically reset Z0 to be referenced from the top of your workpiece at the start of your job.

Hey, yeah I figured z will always end up where I set it using the plate. But just learning at the moment what is normal. If the 200 is expected when homed I’m good with that  thanks
