Homing question dual endstops

I just wanted to be sure I have this set right.

When homing for example the Z.
It will raise Z to top til it hits Z-Min endstop and on the other end will continue to raise til Z-Max endstop is hit. Is that correct? So it keeps it level.
If that’s correct I’m assuming it does the same for Y axis?

Both sides of the Z home to Z max, Those endstops are plugged into different ports depending on what board you have?
We don’t use Z min, but some use a Z probe to find reference surfaces. Have a look at my new video for this in action (YouTube link at the top of the page).

The standard configuration raises Z1 (left side) until the endstop (plugged into ZMAX port) is triggered, and Z2 (right side) rises until the endstop (plugged into XMAX) is triggered. ZMIN is left available for probing. This can be changed in the firmware.

Y axis homes toward -Y, and Y1 (left side) stops when YMIN is triggered and Y2 (right side) stops when YMAX is triggered.

Awesome, yeah sorry I called them incorrectly but yeah it’s all working correctly
