I am sure this has been discussed a thousand time, but I can’t happen to find this exact problem. While cutting the strut plates I realised the holes were way of (everything else seems fine).
Could be skipped steps between the hole cuts and the part cuts (assuming no tool change), or gantry moved during tool change and wasn’t re-homed before starting second set of cuts.
Thanks everybody! It was a simple mistake. I forgot to save macros…so my adjustments to the x and y axis weren’t saved…
I went on to cut one perfect strut plate….when starting the second one I had a really good feeling, just for another problem to occur..After a perfect start, the Tool is not going deeper. X and Y Axis seem to work perfect…But the tool is just cruising in the air….Any idea what could be wrong here?
It could be anything. tool in too far, bad Gcode, bad probe, Z blocks sitting funny. Take a look around your machine, make sure it can drive lower, if it can then it is a Gcode/cam thing.
