Help with cutting table parts in Poland

Hi all, is there anyone here who could help me cut parts for cnc table? My cnc is too small to cut full sheet plywood.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

I think a lot of people fall back on traditional techniques (circular/track/table saw) to cut the pieces for their tables as they’re often needed to get the CNC operational in the first place.

Hello, and welcome to the V1 community.

What type of CNC are you trying to build, and what kind of CNC do you already have?

It is possible to ‘bootstrap’ a LowRider CNC, by building it on a temporary base which can be as simple as a full sheet of flat goods. You then use this temporary setup to machine the parts for your table, and then transfer the LowRider to the table after you’ve cut your own parts.

There are plenty of forum threads here about folks doing that.

This is also true. You can use all kinds of methods to make a temporary table which you then use to build the final table for your machine.

@ttraband thank you! I have been lurking for quite some time now  good to be part of this community

@MakerJim Thanks! I have small FoxAlien Masuter PRO (40x40cm) and trying to build LR v3.

After giving it some thought I decided to build temporary table and cut torsion box elements on that.

I have found some companies which could help, but it was simply too expensive.

Glad you’re here and getting the assistance you’re looking for. This is a great community, in my experience.

Building a good table to put the CNC on is a classic bootstrap problem for what ends up being an immensely broadening capability, once you get it running. I remember when first looking at DIY’ing a 3D printer with a student group I was advising, a lot of the recommendations started with “get a buddy to 3D print you a set of 3D printer parts.”
