I am going to build either a 4X4 cutting area or 4x8 but I really need to make a table I can store flat against the wall without too much trouble. I could likely attach one side to a wall. but that might be more trouble. Any suggestions or build threads you can link would be appreciated.

Welcome, I hope your build goes well! I have seen a few builds that are space saving foldables around here, but I definitely didn’t build one. I have liked this design as a mobile table for a long though, I’m sure you could adapt something like this if you don’t want it locked to a table:
