So I have ordered the esp-01s for my skr pro.
And I also have a rpi set up at the moment.
My question is which is preferred method?
I’d like to get V1pi all running headless, and can see the octoprint can be run headless to the controller(once the esp-01s is installed), but can’t seem to find if cncjs can do the same as I can’t install plugins like octoprint can.
This isn’t right. The rpi connects to the controller over usb. Octoprint and cncjs have a web servers you can connect to from something else. The v1pi image is headless.
Or, you can put the pi into some other project and use the esp01. In that case, the skr pro itself ends up with a web server, headless. You would then connect to that web server, not octoprint or cncjs.

Yes that’s correct, apologies prob worded wrong.
I wanted the rpi to connect to controller headless instead of usb.
