Has anyone tried this Z axis conduit vacuum for their MPCNC?

I’ve got a vacuum adapter for my MPCNC that runs a big sleeve up the router - hard to describe on no coffee. It’s pretty big and I’m not sure it’s all that efficient at suction (coming from a regular shop vac). It’s also tough to keep the shop vac hose in place since it needs a sort of funnel adapter to go right to the big hose, and that adapter never quite stays tense.

Someone designed this set of printable adapters that sucks through the Z axis conduits: https://makerworld.com/models/1661549

On paper this looks like a fairly elegant solution, it’s forever vertical and out of the way, plus it allows for even suction through the conduits. Has anyone tried this yet? Any impressions? It has no reviews so I figured I should ask before possibly wasting filament.

This looks a lot like my design, which is on Thingiverse: Clear Dust Shoe for MPCNC Primo by Steve M. Potter by stevempotter - Thingiverse

The clear part is a spray varnish lid.
