I promise I’m a very technical person & can design the part if necessary. But I’m currently in the middle of hardcore crunch-mode, and surely someone more intelligent than me has already made a suitable mount.
After 30 mins searching, I found LONG threads that seemed to deal with overly complex designs, so perhaps either 1) I’m missing something, or 2) it’s more complicated than I expect.
Above: Shows the mount (bottom right).
So if there’s some pre-made “mount a flat plate on LR4 spindleholder,” I can take that and modify it for the hole pattern for this plate.
@Ryan1 maybe idea suggestion for LR5: Put mount points on those spindle rings. Perhaps omission was intentional to discourage extra weight, or maybe I’m overlooking the utility of that hole on the bottom ring. The LR4 was so freakishly cleverly designed that more than likely I’m missing something and need to sleep.
Not my best CAD ever, but I cleaned it up a little…
You can edit the parameters according to your specific mounting plate
Mainly set plate width and hole spacing, everything else should follow… hopefully…

Just be aware that with this mount, the laser may interfere with the upper bracket’s probe holder
You can either:
increase the plate’s thickness
turn the upper bracket around so that the probe holder is on the motor side
re-print an upper bracket without the probe mount (or just cut it off)
