Free Vector/Clipart! Where do you find them!

Okay so as the title says. I’m starting to really get into the CAM side and design some stuff. Where do you get vectors/clipart/pngs/etc images royalty free? Perhaps vector isn’t the right word. But if I for example want a tree to use in a design (this is jumbled thought, not actually looking for a tree… yet… now I already have ideas though) where do I find that. preferablly for free

I have seen THIS Thread and there are some of what I am looking for but these are mostly CNC projects and not so much files to add to design. and royalty free takes some extra research to be sure.

Wow, the company that is behind that site, https://www.scan2cad.com/ is something I am going to look into also!!!

That is awesome, I use Inkscape somewhat successfully, but if it is as easy as it says, WOW!

Ohh, inkscape wins, I just saw the price, OUCH!!! Pricing | Purchasing Options | Scan2CAD

@RockinRiley

Actually there are a bunch that are free and they issue another set almost weekly.

After collecting the free ones for a while I did buy some of the more detailed (curated) collections.

You do have to register, but that’s how you find out what the new collections are.

I don’t know if they have been mentioned before, but here are a couple of sites I’ve used:f

Note, also look at bitmap image sites and use the keyword(s) “silhouette” and/or “clipart” in the search. Given a clean silhouette, online tools, inkscape, and Lightburn (and others) all do a great job of converting silhouettes to vectors.

Loving these! Going to make a list like on that other thread. We should keep adding to it if we find more!

But if you pay yearly its 10% off :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
What happened to actual savings when you committed to something?

Yeah, great idea! Add to it so we have lots and lots of files.

I often find myself taking a screenshot with Firefox’ screenshot function and then trace the bitmap in Inkscape. The Guinea pig box comes from a tiny free icon.

I found another, Haven’t checked it out too much minus the license page talking about what/how you are allowed to use their files
