Working better, looks like I need to wait for dns propagation to really test it out., fingers crossed.

Did we get too many or not enough?

Not enough and it still isn’t working, I am not getting notified about these replies or PM’s. dkim is not working, cname should handle everything else but isn’t and DNS stuff is scary to mess with.

Maybe it’s just eUPS not delivering internationally?

DNS stuff. Ugh. I can muddle through, but it stresses me to bother with it. Especially trying to get mail service supported. Between SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, and who knows what else… It’s an alphabet soup that seems designed to be frustrating.

Almost there, just down to one dkim setting, that is real close now.

I also tried clearing the bounce score in the forums but that will not take hold until like 5-6pm my time.

So hopefully tomorrow it is all back to normal, or even better than before.

Do you have any idea if the lack of emails affected traffic? Or is it in the noise?

I know I pop over here as soon as I get a DM (which is one reason why I don’t help in DMs).

“daily engaged users” is down a little bit, but I am not sure how long this has been happening. I feel like my emails have slowed over maybe a month or so.

-This morning we are still working on the dkim issue. The forum host seems to think we have a DNS issue. the domains from google domains were all sold and transferred to a new company and that seems to have borked something. I can see the dkim keys, but they say they are wrong from some reason. So I just added a new test one so they can try and see what is going on. When we get this we should be solid for years to come.

-2 days ago we correct the “reply to” issue, but that issue means sooooo many emails bounced that a ton of users have been locked out due to “too many bounced emails” I tried resetting that to clear after 1 day and zero days instead of the 30 days it normally takes. Problem is, zero days didn’t clear anyone, and 1 day didn’t clear anyone (so maybe a bug there in discourse). So now I am watching the bounced log and clearing users individually.
