truth is I have no idea what I am doing… just learned how to do that much last night with fusion 360… love youtube when I need to know how to do something LOL…was up until 1am LMAO got up at 5am to go to the office feel like a 60 yr old kid for sure
I was wondering if you have this fully operating. Management of the hose and the cables coming from the gantry is making me crazy on my LR4.
It seems that no matter how I try to arrange things, there is always a risk that something will get hung up someplace. I had just about decided to try to design this exact thing when i found yours…

yup… finally after much finagling I was able to get it to where I wanted it w/o any snags.
I created (remade) a mount for a drag chain for the wires and that runs along the inside of the dust hose…
very loosely attached to each other in two spots with velcro strips… so they stay near but not bound together. the magnetic coupling also holds well so when not in use, i can simply disconnect the hose and stow it.
