Floppy Z axis

I am just to the ‘start wiring stage’ of my LR4 project. I can now see how it works mechanically. My LR4 will need to be Storable. The natural inclination would be to pick it up by the beam, which I think would be a bad idea. I think the YZ plates will drop with a bang. Luckily the znut is not fastened or the z axis couplers would self destruct. There appears to be unused holes next to the ZStubs. Does anyone know if Ryan plans a latching mechanism?

I think I will lower the gantry and secure the gantry with velcro straps before moving, for now. Is there a better way? Am I being too cautious?

Pop the y belts and pick it up by the gantry. Don’t throw it or beat on it, but the yz plates don’t drop. Don’t store it on the end either, it will tweak over time. I’ve built 3 and they have all transported at some point off the y axis. No big deal.

I have a screw in there very loosely, Ryan does not have one at all either. They do not seem to be needed at all.
