First project, sort of

Well, second if you count the boards for my torsion box table. The lowrider is still bootstrapped to the floor, but I just had to cut something before I took it apart to finish the table.

This is a vcarve out of a pine deck board, approximately 5” x 8”. Other than some small lines left from stepover, it turned out great.

Stained with gunstock colored minwax stain and a couple of coats of spray polyurethane. I’m still amazed by the detail.

Loving the Lowrider v4!

That turned out really good. Congratulations on your first project!

That is a hell of a first project. Nice work!

It looks amazing!

What router bit did you use?

I used a 1/8” flat nose two flute endmill I got a 10 pack of from ebay for the roughing pass, and a 3mm 15 degree tapered bit from Temu for the finishing pass. Feeds and speeds are pretty consistent with the rates on the Milling Basics page. It took a while, lol.
