This has to be one of the most perfect uses for it. Templates make things very easy to build. IT also reduces the pucker factor when using very expensive material. Until you become fluent in CNC templates are by far the best thing to make for any sort of production.
For a while I tried templates to cut out the LR2 side plates. I eventually just started batch cutting them on the Lowrider before subbing it out to a power user.
