Finished build, cart made w/ Maslow CNC

Very lucky to have built this at a makerspace w/ a Maslow CNC which I used to cut a cart, including the holes for the legs. Cut almost all the guesswork out of squaring. Working volume is 380x380x100. I plan to mainly use it for cutting pottery plaster for slipcasting molds, although I may try some aluminum at some point. I designed a tool mount w/ heat set inserts for mounting accessories like a pen without needing to remove the tool which I’m pretty happy with. The motion system is printed out of PLA-CF and the tool mount is ABS.

I did unfortunately run into the SKR Pro end stop issue which I resolved by popping off all the endstop LEDs. In retrospect, I should have gone w/ the Jackpot, since I’m controlling it w/ CNC.js running on the Pi.

Overall very easy and enjoyable process and I’m excited to start making some cuts.
