I am trying to standardize my filament selection. I would like to find out from seasoned users about which filament made in the USA are preferred. I mostly use PLA, PETG, ASA, and TPU with the hardened nozzle of either .4mm or .6mm. Thank you for your response.
My favorite is protopasta. It is a bit expensive. But I don’t use a lot. I also buy Atomic occasionally if I need a lot for some reason.
There are bunch of good threads about this on reddit. Here’s a few:

I’m going to try Printbed filament next. Their price for a single roll is kind of high, but their bulk prices aren’t too bad. Also, they have a 5 pack mini rolls for $33 which is a great way to try out 5 different colors.
I have no affiliation with them other than that they are in Michigan and I am originally from MI.
I have always been a fan of zyltech filament. They were an usa based mfg, then went to China, and about 2-3 years ago they went back to usa. They also sell jumbo rolls. But for CF petg the best i have used is atomic brand.
I’ll second @jeffeb3’s suggestion of Atomic. I’ve been a fan of their filament for a long time - in fact the core on my new LR4 was made from a spool I bought 9 years ago before I even made my first MPCNC and it still printed great. (vs. the white Inland filament I’ve been using on my ZenXY which is only a year or so old and which is already so brittle that I have to keep reloading the MMU on my Prusa because it snaps in the buffer after a day or two.)
And there are usually discount codes you can find for Atomic with a little bit of searching…I know the owner used to hang out in the reprap IRC channel and give them out just for asking. But - they also usually have specials on bulk orders so if you get 3 or 4 spools the price isn’t much different than cheaper Chinese filaments on amazon like Hatchbox and eSun.
I also like some of the filaments from Polymaker who now have a US manufacturing facility - though they’re not US based and not all filaments for the US market are made in the US yet. I wouldn’t use them for things like v1 projects but their matte and polyterra are nice for some uses - they have a tan that’s perfect for that 80’s vintage electronics look:
Thanks to all of you for the suggestions. I hope Atomic will eventually produce a matte PLA
