Anyone interested in helping out keep an eye on the wild and wacky Facebook group? I have never been all that great navigating FB. Looking for someone that frequents FB already and can let me know if anything needs to get removed or just letting the new users in a couple times a week.

I already admin a couple of decent sized FB groups (10-20k people), happy to help out if needed.

I also admin a few large groups, although I’ve been conspicuously absent of late - happy to help if needed.

With large groups in particular, it’s good to have a team covering as many time zones as possible. EU, US, NZ seems fair!

I think the last time I looked, someone had made an LR3 with plastic PVC pipe instead of conduit, so I thought it was a parody group…

Wouldn’t it be better to quit X, Facebook and the likes for good? I mean, I don’t know how important they are for your business, but a lot of decisions of those companies have been against humanity (a bit of a simplification here, alsoI DO NOT want to start a political debate, but sometimes you have to look at the facts).
Yep, but one of the “facts” are that a lot of people believe that the truth somehow lurks there. Fb is the first port of call for many - we had an example of that recently with someone coming here as a last resort, and discovering ANSWERS!

I like the idea of this group having some overview there - perhaps pointing to answers in the forum.
Even though I’m an admin on a few places, I have had a big holiday from most social media but I’m prepared to give it a go.

There will be a FB group no matter what. Either we push a reasonable culture there or we will be letting it grow however it wants. You can’t ignore this stuff, unfortunately. There are over 1 billion facebook users.

Yeah the FB group has 11.7k members, the forums only has 11k signed up members. I choose to spend my time here, but I do check in occasionally over there.
