European group buy of jackpot boards

I’ll make a wild guess: ESP32 included in the board’s schematics. That’d be the logical next step.

Probably should but the next thing would make that better.

That works out at about £35 GBP including shipping which I’d say was good - are you making something on that too - I hope so, but it can’t be much? Don’t sell yourself too cheaply. The sticking point is still the import duty though. If you buy from Aliexpress (for example) they pay the UK import VAT at source and it comes straight through without being stopped by customs. If things gets stopped its a bit of a lottery as to how much tax and fees you might have to pay and also how long it gets stuck for.
It used to be great when we were in the single market with the rest of the EU, you could shop and ship all over Europe. Now it seems that major markets like Aliexpress have managed to do whatever is required to sell into the UK easily. I used to buy a lot of small holding equipment from Austria - they won’t sell to the UK now. I don’t envy you trying to run an international operation. I used to sell compost bins all over Europe as lots of countries had no official distributor and it was easy to tap those markets. Customs and borders just kill trade like that.
I think you might struggle to find a solution that fits Europe and the UK. Thank you for trying.

That’s the time difference for you. I’m just getting started. Await hilarity.

@vicious1 Do you get a cut if I order from Elecrow? Since ordering from elecrow costs me 41€ including shipping. but ordering directly from you becomes 110€ because of the shipping. Of course I will still need to order a esp32. Can I swap over my tmc drivers from the skr board? The skr board and drivers where ordered from you directly.

Yes, I get a fair share from the sale and your drivers will swap right over. So far it seems to be working out well and only one minor issue that was quickly fixed with any of the boards sold.

Can I ask how much that cost you?

I can confirm, great service through Elecrow to the UK. Cost $43.21 and took 10 days to deliver.

Cost me 41€ including shipping. Do keep in mind you will still need the drivers and an esp.

That should put you just over my price right, all said and done?

@vSeccelen and @apl4 - does that include taxes?

That included everything. Shipping and taxes.
I’m waiting for LR4. Then I will transfer the drivers from my SKR Pro running my LR3.
