Engraving in Estlcam

So I am getting ready to do t-shirts for my daughter, and I wanted to run the cut 2 times, so I set the engraver for 1 mm Z and then I told the cut to be and engraving and cut 3mm (i know this is 3 times, not 2 what i wanted, but I wanted to visualize, and guess what Engraving goes Forward for cut 1, but when it gets to the start it Reverses and goes backwards for Cut 2, then Forward for Cut 3, this will run the heat transfer. I tried Part and hole and they do what I want, run 2 or 3 times, (whatever depth i tell it). Why would engraving reverse course?

Save travel time, I suppose.

Can you cheat it and just run the whole job twice, one pass each?

I just used hole and part. I want it to go past start, to make sure it all cuts.

In the docs I show how to use overcuts for drag knives. not sure where I put it so you will need to run the search for overcut or drag knife.

Did you use Automatic or Manual machining order? If you use manual, you may be able to force EstlCAM to do it in the order that you want…

Looks good. Kid wants t shirts for her volleyball gang!
