Endstops ignored?

I assume that there might be some disadvantage or unwanted side effect, if the endstops are “respected” with all kind of jogging, beside the homing?

If they are accidentally triggered during a cut, then the job would be ruined.

The end stops are only active during homing commands, driving into them does nothing. You would not want to accidentally trigger one and ruin your active job, so they are only for precision homing, axis square/level.
