The mini rambo runs two motors off of one motor driver. So it can’t possibly auto square. If the board has 5 drivers, it can control each motor independently, which will let you auto square the Y and Z on a low rider.
The jackpot is a great board that runs fluidnc (which is closer to grbl than marlin and has more CNC features). I would recommend that.
Do you know where you will install the endstops? I don’t think the LR2 had endstop mounts by default. I know there were some mods to add them. Ideally, you want the Z to home up towards the endstops for autosquare and probe down for the Z probe.
There’s no provision for Endstops, but I’ll find a way of installing them without any problems, I think.
I’ll get back to you with the details once everything’s installed
Do I need to update the firmware for Endstops?
If I have my Endstop in Z, is the tiny tuch plate useful?
