EMT tubing at Lowes

I’m half way through my first-time build - a V4 - and just picked up a length of 1" EMT conduit from Lowes but it turns out to be 34.75mm diameter. Did I get the wrong tubing or is there that much variability in 1 inch conduit?

Is there any reason I shouldn’t try importing the various brace STLs into something like Tinkercad and enlarging the holes?

I think you bought the wrong size. Lowes also sells 1 1/4 inch EMT. I’m guessing that is what you bought.

You definitely do not want to do that.

Are you absolutely sure you grabbed 1" EMT from the electrical department?

No one has had an issue.

Does it still have a sticker on it? You can post that and we can look it up.

Maybe someone dropped the wrong tube into the 1" bin? Maybe it’s 1-1/4"?

I think 32 is the absolute max that will work

Thanks. I’m off to a good start - my digital calipers were not zeroed. I reset them and it measures 29.8mm.
