DXF. To PDF.

Hi guys,

I need to cut the 611 and Y plate by hand. Can someone help me convert the dxf to pdf so i can print it to scale?

Draftsight will export PDF.
to open a DXF in draftsigh the command is importdxf

Or post the DXF on here and I will convert it for you (you will have to rename the DXF to txt)

I only work in metric but you can work around that.

Yeah thats the file and the y plate if you could convert it for me and email it to hazwan.jamain@gmail if not i’ll try draftsight (thanks for the suggestion bill!)

If your looking to source flat parts you can get them at kinetechconcepts.com right now the cart does not show the 25mm but they can cut those for you if need be.

One Y plate as requested Sir (that’s meant as a light hearted comment)
I have posted on here in case anyone else wants it.

Draftsight is free, some may find it a steep learning curve.

To make it a little easier for anyone wanting to open a DXF in Draftsight here’s a screen shot.
Your screen may look a little different, this is the “classical view”.
After typing the phrase “importdxf” (one word with out spaces or quotes) press enter (Return) and navigate to the DXF file.
I would have to test it out but I think it opens in the measuring system it was drawn in (metric imperial)

Or the last question in the FAQ’s has another dxf pdf solution, that might come in handy to do measurements as well.
