I decided to increase the cutting area on my machine to be able to go 30”x30” (762mm). Finally got it done enough for the testing. I think it’s working quite well!

Looks like a proper beefy table!
It was pretty much the default suggested size I think. 450mmx330mm. I always had to be so careful my projects were small enough for the area. It’s so much nicer now!
When your neighbor throws away a bunch of lumber, you snap it up. 
I don’t think I would have convinced myself to do this build without it.

For shop furniture, the best lumber is usually what you get for free. Your table looks strong and sturdy.
I did the same with my workbench. I laminated the scraps from a deck rebuild.
