Collector is made purple to have easy access to change a tool in router and it was designed for dust hose place from above but it’s not need to be like this should works fine with original placement of dust hose.
IMPORTANT - based on Makita Router
To make it you will need few things
- 4 M5 bolts with long section without thread
- 4 M5 nuts
- 4 M5 flange nuts
- 1 M3 40mm (don’t remember exactly sry :))

It has a few advantages
- dust skirt (TPU hairs) are easy to swap just unscrew them and screw new one longer or shorter
- dust hose can freely rotate so its not generating any tension
- dust collector is removal for easy access to change a tool
It is straight forward to asseled so i’m not gonna talk a lot about it, but if you have a question don’t hesitate.
One think is good to mention, the “hairs” need to be trimmed to length and glued in place.
The “adapter” (xD didn’t know that it is a same word in polish and english) currently is made for a 50mm hose if anyone need different size let me known.
It also could have a 90’ elbow if needed
