I’m looking to build a CYD Dial with the capacitive screen. Looking into the Wiki, it’s said that somehow Guideon makes screens and they are not compatible, or is it only the resistive version that is not compatible ? It’s not clear from my understanding of the text :
The capacitive version is somewhat less common; search AliExpress for “JC2432W328C”. Guition also makes a resistive model JC2432W328R; this code does not support that one. The Guition models can be identified by the presence of an RGB LED on the front side as shown below; the other ones have the RGB LED on the back. The capacitive version has an extra IO connector on the back that affects the wiring.
So my question is are all JC2432W328C capacitive screens compatible, including Guition ones ? Because the only capactives I can find have the RGB led on the front and/or marked Guition…
