I just watched this video, and I saw something I thought might be of interest to people here. In this video, the author used custom vacuum fixtures to hold odd shaped pieces of foam. It’s a long video, the vacuum fixtures are shown between minutes 2 and 7.

If you ever have some time to kill, go watch some of the other videos on his youtube page especially if you’re at all interested in metal casting. He does some absolutely amazing work.
One of his other cnc related videos that might be of interest to people here is a vacuum table for use with a drag knife.

I need to get details from you for table V2 when I build the LR4.
I’m shredding up my spoil board and have so much waste on the edges of pieces for screws.
Only really works for big, straight, not bend pieces of wood regrettably.
