Creative Fabrication (hyperspeed timelapse) for Ella’s Playtown’s Flufferella’s Slime Co. CNC/print!

My LowRider v4 featured heavily in this project, but it also included use of my 100W CO2 laser and all of my small farm of 3D printers!

Do you have a picture you can add, videos do not work for a gallery listing?

Looks like a super fun place, the signage looks amazing! Like full on amazing.

@vicious1 good catch! I grabbed some screenshots from the video, and used a couple of them to create a framed set just for the thumbnail!

This is actually amazing. Is there a non-hyperspeed video?

Sadly, not at this time. For a variety of reasons, including both not wanting to reveal the design details of the “work made for hire” slime dispensers and just lack of time for editing.

Thanks! I continue to share links to your LR4 beta cut video in the descriptions.

Doug, as someone who does a lot ot retail store fachades, man your work is top notch!

Keep the hard work. And you are totally right: you must not disclose any details publicly of For hire work, it will make you look bad if some of that info gets into the clients hands by a third party

Any simple google search will make you land on any v1e forum page. (I was having an issue with a Bart 6x board, and everything i searched, got multiple v1e forum threads as result)

I watched SmarterEveryDay’s video lament of the lack of American Manufacturing. All of your work makes me think that this is probably the future of American Manufacturing; small, hometown shops looking for highly custom and small volume products made by the guy next door. Awesome work! I’m impressed by all of the details and time it must have taken to make it all look this good.

I should stress that the top of the back wall, where the wide strip goes across the shelves, with the vertical candy stripes and the “Slime Co.” sign, is my work, and the 4 slime dispenser machines are my work. The shelves and the checkout counter were all the client! We took measurements so I could create that wide signage and carry it back in and have it fit for the quick install.

Thanks, all, for the kind words!

Fantastic work @DougJoseph! It all looks amazing.

Nice job.

The real question I have: Is the slime edible?

When I google stuff I struggle with I find myself asking the same questions a few years back!! The forum is sure a source of many layers of inception…

It’s made mostly of glue and hand lotion - I think. Probably not considered “toxic” but also probably not a good idea to try to eat it!
