so ive got pronter face and repitier host installed on windows 10 laptop.
worked fine a month ago but since updating win 10 to newest version it gives me a load library error 1114. anyone else having this problem? not sure what other control software to try.
You might try simply uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it.
done that. I think imight reinstall windows with earlier version see if that helps. ban older laptop that i only use for cnc, shapeco 3. their software works fine. Not sure if items created in carbide software will run properly on mpcnc burly. so reinstalling windows to earlier version not an issue. just wondering if anyone else having this problem. original windows 7 installed. i think newest windows version might have broke the software.
I run my machine off an SD card, so I wouldn’t have seen this problem. But I just took my Windows 10 laptop (last Windows update about a week ago) and connected using Repetier-Host. Everything worked correctly.
Rather than reinstall windows, you can roll back the update.
yes i think i shall do that. since it worked before the update. laptop about five years old. guess it cant handle the newer version. i also got several messages from microsoft anti virus saying the file wasnt safe. mainly it couldnt confirm the file authenticity. anyway ill just roll back update.
I think ill try one more install with antivirus disabled see if that helps before i reinstall windows to an earlier version. appreciate your comments.
So after trying a few things nothing got rid of the error so now im reinstalling windows 11 1904 version/build. clean install illlet you know if that solves the issue.
