Hello ! First of all I am running a MPCNC with ramps and marlin for years now and didn’t have any problem except some burnt drivers and common stuff . I want to upgrade it somehow to a better board not specifically to marlin but anything that is compatible . My most wanted features will be of course homing and if possible being able to be a cube as I’m using double steppers per axle , if possible to continue from where it may have stuck or if power goes out , z homing by touching a metal base or something so I don’t have to use endstop for this and finally most important I would like to be able to me holes by drilling and countersinking without making contours in fusion and doing the countersunk by hand later in the holes . What are the boards that could provide me with these ?

Do you mean auto-squaring ? Marlin can do that today with the latest versions of firmware.
As far as I know, none of the current typical firmware we use support that for MPCNC or LowRider. Maybe Klipper, but that’s uncommon on the V1 machines.
This is also supported by current Marlin builds as well as FluidNC and Klipper (amongst others)
This is not a machine controller firmware thing for the machine controllers we use, your CAM software has to do this.
It seems you’re using Fusion 360 as your CAD package. What CAM are you using?
It may be that all you need to do is to update to a more modern Marlin build.
You should know that the newer firmware options also use different workflows. I think they’re a big improvement- being able to run your machine from a web browser on a portable device or computer. But, if you’ve gotten quite used to the workflow you have it might be quite a jump.
If you can tell us more about your machine and how you use it, then we might be able to give better advice.

In readily available boards, the Jackpot is a great value. Because it doesn’t have lots of features that you don’t want or need for CNC it has excellent value for the dollar with the features that you do want and will use. Also lots of support here from other users.
I use one for a laser, though my CNC machines all use Duet boards. Because I am very familiar with the firmware and configuration, it works well for me, and I don’t usually need much in the way of support.
FluidNC (Jackpot firmware) is well supported, because it is a GRBL work-alike. It has native support from most CAM software. It would be hard to go wrong with that board.

I know about these features in marlin and I use them too , only thing is I don’t want to lose them , the power resume is not important , my most important thing was to be able to drill and not contour holes . I am some years behind and I think back then drilling was not a thing in marlin . I am using Fusion a my cad and cam software .
Thank you too for the reply ! After some research the last days I saw that board but my main thing is that its not available in Europe and unfortunately importing in my country(Greece) is way too expensive and that 50-70 bucks will cost me double if not more ….
