Connecting spoilboard to hollow core door

Hi All, a quick dumb question. I’m trying to create a lightweight table for my LR4 build. I have a hollow core door and was planning to attach a 1/2” sheet of MDF to it as the spoilboard. Any advice on how best to attach the mdf? The door is rigid but is skinned with a thin veneer and is mostly filled with cardboard. So not many great mechanical connection options except along the edges. I could glue it down in the middle but would like to be able to replace the spoilboard in the future without destroying stuff and/or creating a bunch of extra work.

Nylon (or brass, I suppose) bolts countersunk (or counterbored) through the spoil board and door with fender washers on the underside? That way the bolt is softer than the tool and should not result in damage if/when you hit it with the spindle.
