I tried milling a small scrap of the hd decking.
Appeared to work ok at first but started to stick to the bit after about 10 mins of cutting a pocket. I think I wasn’t clearing the chips fast enough so heat started to build up.
You could probably get it dialed in but I gave up because I only had the one scrap piece.
I just saw this post, so sorry for the late reply. I’ve cut some in the past. Using a dewalt 660 full speed, feed rate was 12-17fpm, but I’ll check when I’m at my computer. Used a downcut bit to cut the top layer for cleaner edges, then used upcut bit for rest. Small DOC otherwise material will melt to bit. Bits were 2 flute 1/8" & 1/4". Used 0.2mm finishing pass.
