I saw this by accident on Thingiverse and thought it was very cool!
I used to do Lapidary work and avoided faceting machines, but this might fun.

So much cool stuff to get exposed to on this site! I had never heard the term lapidary but now know what that is. Funny thing: I used to work in an academic lab with “faceting machines” as you referred to them, and we called it lapping… but I never knew why. That thingiverse link is pretty cool and the dude’s write-up is pretty amusing with the 2 failed kickstarters and the whole crying at him in the afterlife… thanks for sharing!
