Cnc business

So things have taken off a lot faster than I was expecting. I built my MPCNC to make money with and as of right now I finished getting my cnc up and going in September and have made around thirty sets of charcuterie boards and coasters and just yesterday I have been commissioned for a 40 cutting board order by May.

Put in the hard work and connect with the right people and your business will take off.

Great stuff.

Am also looking at the possibility of commercializing cnc business and partnerships.

Lots of potential in cnc business

What size did you make your CNC (build area XYZ?). Was hoping to get a business up and running but need to determine what size to make this

I would suggest that you have some idea of what you want to make with the machine first, as that will determine what size you might need.

Other users may be making different size projects than you are planning, so asking them for their size build may not provide the answer that is appropriate to your circumstances.

I believe mine is 30”x30” I can do anything up to 24”x24”. As far as the business goes I did really good until my contact moved to Florida but I made enough off of it that I pretty much paid for my cnc my laser and still had a good bit of money left over. My biggest issue is that my full time job takes up so much of my time I don’t have very much time left to put into building a business because most of my weekends are spent doing things with the wife and kids and fixing things around the house and a lot of other things so it’s kinda died off but I don’t have a business not to pay or anything so it’s no big deal.
