Today, I picked up this trim router. I don’t know if it’s great, a total piece of garbage or somewhere in between but for $60 Cdn, I thought it was worth taking a chance. BTW, it’s 65mm diameter and comes with what looks like a Makita style 1/4" collet. And for those that don’t recognize the packaging, it’s from Princess Auto, that’s Canada’s analog to Harbor Freight.
Awesome
I never even thought to check princess auto. Does it have a variable speed ?
I just bought a cheap one off Amazon. It was 100.00 cad.
I wouldn’t have thought to look there either but this was in one of the current flyers. And it has six speeds ranging from 12,000rpm to 30,000rpm.
BTW, I just double checked the diameter and it fits perfectly into Ryan’s Makita tool mount.
Well on behalf of the Canada crew thanks for posting haha.
Those Kobalts are unobtaniun here it seems.
Let’s battle till their deaths and see what one lasts longer
I also noticed one interesting feature that I wasn’t expecting, it comes with two wrenches, one fits the shaft of the router and the other the collet nut but, you don’t have to use both wrenches as it also has a button to lock the shaft.
I saw that, but I dont need another compact router, lol. It looks a lot like a Makita clone.
