An associate of mine who’s a carpenter asked me whether I could make two card holders for him since he didn’t want to create a jig to cut it by hand. He provided the olive wood and I cut the holders. The payment was two rest pieces of 30-year-old cherry that I can use and they can’t use. ![]()
The boards had exactly the right size, 0.5mm less and it would not have worked, that’s why I made a test piece out of MDF (and double good I did because otherwise I would have cut the grove with a 6mm endmill instead of 2…
).
