Card Holders

An associate of mine who’s a carpenter asked me whether I could make two card holders for him since he didn’t want to create a jig to cut it by hand. He provided the olive wood and I cut the holders. The payment was two rest pieces of 30-year-old cherry that I can use and they can’t use. :stuck_out_tongue:
The boards had exactly the right size, 0.5mm less and it would not have worked, that’s why I made a test piece out of MDF (and double good I did because otherwise I would have cut the grove with a 6mm endmill instead of 2…).

He’s going to do the final sanding and polish:

Didn’t have a card but stickers… :stuck_out_tongue:

Look at those sexy chips!

Fancy schmancy toolsetter (it is incredible, really):

I am going to ask him to provide more pictures once he’s done with it.

Cheers!
