Carbon Fiber Tubes

After a mishap with my calipers, I headed down the 25mm path while in the US. The 25mm steel tubing I have found is around $145 per 4’ tube… so that is out.

What is everyone’s thoughts around carbon fiber tubing? I can’t include links, but here is the description for the Amazon items I found that dimensionally should work. (I am not building 4x8’, only doing 2.5x4’)

I think the consensus is the CF surface will be quickly worn by the bearings riding on it.

Yep, cf tubes won’t work.
