Is it possible to use the LowRider 4 as a dual-purpose CNC by setting it up as a plasma table, and then placing a wooden top over it when I want to use it as a router CNC? Has anyone done this before? If so, could you please share some pictures or builds?
No, that’s not been done because a plasma and a CNC have fundamentally different software. 
I’m planning to use grblHAL, and I think it’s possible to adjust the power directly via G-code… right? Gemini says it’s totally doable, but I really want to see it in action.
I thought the guys that have done Plasma tables were using LinuxCNC?
Yeah, but for us around here it’s completely different because everyone uses FluidNC.
