Finally got the y axis pole and x / y belts installed. Damn they had me 2nd guessing myself for a while lol…
So, i have little to no idea of too loose, too tight or just right…
I have a cambelt tension guage for cars, it measures the amount of deflection at a given daN.
Anyone ever tried using something like this on the GT5 belts and able to let me know the gt5 tension values?

As long as it is accurate at low tension, 7lbs or so.
You know, in the end too loose is fine. If you are super super loose you will slip teeth on the pulley, just a bit too loose all your inside cuts will be too small and outside cuts will be too big. Too loose is far better than too tight. You can just guess and check with a few small test cuts.
