Few weekends ago I was hunting for my wrench and realized I left it at the cnc…again. Man, sure would be nice for the cnc to have its own wrench, huh? I had some aluminum remnants, so I cracked a beer and started designing. 6 attempts later, I had this…
My daughter helped one of the failures photobomb, lol.

That’s great. I have been trying to think of something for my first attempt at aluminum and this kills two birds with one stone. Just 3D printed a collect nut wrench to I always had in. Never thought to do a two-fer.
I’ll do it again for the 611, and the only thing I’ll change is to go with a cap lifter cut into the side, instead of this style. This one did require some hand finishing to ease getting under the cap. It wasn’t impossible without, but it slipped a couple times.
Heck, maybe that one will have a wrench for BOTH routers, and a capper on the side!

I bet that would be a very popular DXF if you get that worked out!
Nice job, fun and functional. Thanks for sharing.
That’s a good idea. As soon as I do it, I’ll share. Least I can do.
